Tigran Ter-Martirosyan

Tigran Ter-Martirosyan is a Partner of TIVACO Experts in Singapore. He has over 15 years of professional experience in Singapore, London and Moscow, focusing on the valuation of businesses, shares, share options, intangible assets and damages, as well as on accounting issues in international arbitration and litigation.

Tigran has been appointed as an expert witness and adviser by both parties and arbitral tribunals. He has been involved in arbitration matters under SIAC, HKIAC, ICC, LCIA, SCC, SAC (former SCAI), BCDR, UNCITRAL and ICSID rules, as well as in litigation in Singapore, UK, Australia, Hong Kong, Cyprus, Russia, Bermuda, the Cayman Islands and the Isle of Man. He has provided expert testimony both in writing and orally before courts and arbitral tribunals.

His experience spans shareholder and joint venture disputes; private equity and post-M&A disputes; intellectual property infringement cases; contract terminations; claims for breaches of representations, warranties and confidentiality; loss of opportunity claims; accounting (e.g. IFRS) disputes; business interruption claims; reputational damages and investor-state arbitration.

In addition to expert witness engagements, Tigran has performed valuations for the purposes of mediation, expert determination, M&A, financial reporting, restructuring, fairness opinions, management incentive schemes and tax. Tigran has valued assets and damages across the globe, including in Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, North America and South America.

In terms of sector experience, Tigran has performed valuations, damages assessments and financial analysis in a variety of industries, including metals and mining, telecommunications, technology, financial services (banks, insurance), oil and gas, power generation, aviation, semiconductors, manufacturing, agriculture, private equity, asset management, chemicals, consumer markets, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, professional services, retail, real estate, leisure and hospitality.

Tigran is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) and received his degrees in Applied Mathematics and Finance from the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute .
